Brian McCague
Casa Dorinda Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer
Montecito Retirement Association President
Brian directs all operations of Casa Dorinda in accordance with the policies established by the MRA Board of Directors, and in compliance with all local, state and Federal regulations. He provides leadership and direction to ensure Casa runs in an efficient and fiscally sound manner to meet its obligations to the residents of Casa Dorinda.
Brian oversees all Senior Directors, Director of Philanthropy, Director of Sales and Marketing, Director of Human Resources and the Administrative Services Manager. Prior to joining Casa Dorinda, Brian was Executive Director of another retirement community for 13 years after spending nearly 30 years in the hotel and restaurant industry.
Glynn Caberte
Chief Financial Officer
Senior Director of Finance
Glynn is the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Director of Finance. She is tasked with overseeing all financial management of Casa Dorinda and the Montecito Retirement Association.
Glynn has worked in non-profits for over 7 years and holds a Master’s in Business Administration specializing in Management and Leadership.
alan blaver
Senior Director of Operations
Alan is tasked with the leadership, administration, and management of all campus-wide operations. He oversees the Director of Plant Operations, Director of Security, Manager of Information Technology and the Manager of Design & Project Development. He works with the Design & Project Development Manager to complete apartment remodels. Alan has a BA from the University of California, Santa Barbara and an MA from Pepperdine University and brings 20 years of experience in the health care industry.
Therese Brown
Senior Director of Health Services
Therese oversees all health services including the Medical Center, Therapy Services, Personal Care, Memory Care, Clinic, and Social Services. She has 30 years of experience in senior living and has a Master of Science degree in Gerontology. She also holds RCFE and Nursing Home Administrator licenses. An active member of California Leading Age, she has served as a facilitator for its EMERGE leadership program. She oversees the Director of Nursing, Director of Personal Care, Clinic Manager, and Resident Care Manager.
Nikki Ramirez
Senior Director of Resident Services
Nikki is tasked with the leadership, administration, and management of resident centered campus-wide operations. She oversees the Director of Dining Services, Director of Housekeeping, Director of Life Enrichment, Director of Health and Fitness and larger campus-wide projects. She has a MA in Psychology, is an RCFE Administrator and has been in the health care industry for over 20 years.
Katie Hoegh-Guldberg
Director of Sales & Marketing
Katie is responsible for the sales process of prospective residents, cultivating leads for potential residents, apartment sales, events, marketing of Casa Dorinda and charitable giving to local groups. She oversees the Sales and Marketing Manager and the Communication Manager. Katie reports to the Executive Director.
