SPECIAL BRACELET & NECKLACE-MAKING WORKSHOP WITH CHIALEE
Mondays and Tuesdays in June, 1:30 - Craft Studio. During the month of June, join Chialee on Mondays and/or Tuesdays to make fabulous bracelets and necklaces for the Holiday Bazaar 2018 or for yourself. There are several styles to choose from. They will be easy and fun to make; no experience is necessary. Space is limited to 6 people per day, so please sign up in the Mail Room and indicate the day(s) you would like to attend.

AARP DRIVER SAFETY COURSE
Tuesday & Wednesday June 26-27, 8:00am - 12:00pm - Education Center. This eight-hour course is offered in two four-hour sessions. The cost is $15 for members of AARP and $20 for non-members, to be billed, and includes course fee, materials, and a certificate. Upon completion of this course you will also be eligible for an auto insurance discount. Please sign up in the Mail Room.
Thursdays now through June 28, 1:30pm - Ceramics Studio. Now that you’ve seen the ceramic poppy display, you might be inspired to create some flowers. Everyone is invited to come by the Ceramics Studio every Thursday, between now and through the month of June, and create some flowers with the help of Chialee. No experience is necessary, just come and enjoy the creativity!

CAFÉ DES ARTISTES PRESENTS "ART FLOATS MY BOAT" BY KATHRYN PADGETT
Tuesday, June 19 - 4:00 to 5:30pm - Auditorium. Join your friends at another delightful Café des Artistes. Arrive at 4:00 pm, and enjoy a glass of wine and Chef Michael’ hors d’oeuvres at your Café table. At 4:30 pm, the slideshow/lecture begins, presented by the Santa Barbara Museum of Art volunteer docent Kathryn Padgett. Artists’ fascination with depicting boats is demonstrated by covering a time span of 12,000 BCE to the present. This lecture explores the changing imagery, uses, and symbolism of boats depicted in art. There will be limited seating: so please sign up in the Mail Room by Thursday, June 13, at the table number you wish, with the friends you wish.
