The Residents’ Council will be accepting candidates for the nomination of the Residents’ MRA Board member. The term of office is for three years. *Within two weeks of this announcement (Nov. 17) any resident may become a candidate for this position by advising the Secretary of the Council (Maryan Schall) in writing, of his/her willingness to serve if elected. No one may apply after this date.

If the slate has three or fewer candidates, the selection shall be by majority voice vote of the Association members present at the meeting to approve the candidates as the Association’s nominees and submit them to the MRA Board of Directors for consideration. If there are more than three candidates on the slate, the selection of the Association’s nominees shall be done by secret in-house mail ballot.

Please review pages 8 and 9 of your Black Book for a more complete explanation of the selection process. Residents are encouraged to consider participating in this very important position to represent our community.
